Charles Brown
Charles Brown Sr. has been a businessman for the past 60 years. Served in the military a for 9 years, active for 3 years and reserves for 6 years. He started working at the RTD as a Coach Operator for 4 years from 1968-1972. Moving on to LAUSD as a Grounds Keeper and a sheet metal mechanic for 9 years. Moving on to Diesel recon as a diesel mechanic for 4 years along with his accounting business. Later on, he opened accounting offices in Compton, Lynwood, Long Beach, Inglewood and Bellflower then retired and become and entrepreneur doing financial consulting and spending a lot of time in the Church where he became an active member at New Morning Star MBC in Lynwood, Ca. where he became an ordained Deacon moved on to Christ New Testament where he was ordained a
Minister and he was appointed interim pastor and later pastor of Christ New Testament MBC.
In 2006 the founder of FIATM Yakuba Brown, approached him about funding of an idea he had about an organization called ‘Family Is All That Matters’, so he asked him if he would be a part of the Organization. They set out to conquer the mission they had ahead of them. After many disappointments he found someone who was willing to work with to accomplish Our Mission.
At one of the Board Meeting of the Organization Charles Brown Sr. was elected to the Executive Board where he continues to serve today.
